Ok, so i cant watch live tv, and all my recordins are justblack when i play them....BUT....the file is fine, if i play it in an external program, they are all good. I figured it had to have something to do with my renderers or decoders, but ive tried many settings and nogo. help me figure out why im getting perfect files, but gvpvr wont let me see anything !!!! Thanks in advance.

When the arcsoft decoders selected, try playing a recording, then zipp and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

It doesnt like something about the file, but its hard to guess what.

I assume this same file plays in other players? If so, you might need to put a very short recording on a web server somewhere for me to download and look at.

Some people make big files available using free services like rapidshare or megaupload etc
