2008-10-14 Updated the zip on wiki to ver 0.43 with bugfixes.

- Disable autoscan in MusicScanner, set hour to 0.
- New song QUE system so it harmonize with Music Library
- Now handles ScreenSaver
- PageUp/Down on keyboard works
- Skip/Forward on on remote works
- Filters unwanted chars from remote control. Configurable in file music.xml
- New Command Line program, Amazon Cover Downloader (ACD) saves Art directly to AlbumArt directory. AutoLyrix is no longer default downloader
- PCH and MVP users should perhaps disable CMD in file music.xml
- MusicScanner also process JPG with "FRONT" in the name, when creating thumbs.
+ some other fixes.

Thanks MixMan this fixes my problems with the MusicScanner. I am not sure what you mean by harmonize the queue though. On the PCH when I hit ok, it queues all the files in a folder from the current location, with ML only the current song is played, and when I hit play nothing happens.

As OscarL wrote, ML will queue all songs under the current location if you are on a folder or play the current folder (like you do with ok) if this is set
<MusicLibraryAutoQueueFiles>true</MusicLibraryAutoQueueFiles>
the the queue is either shuffled are played in file order based on this setting
<AutoShuffleRecursivePlay>true</AutoShuffleRecursivePlay>

The plugin now uses Subs que system, instead of "homegrown"

Do you mean
The plugin doesn't respond on Ctrl-P, well that a "bug"......to be fixed.
Hit Enter/OK and it will que and play all songs in the current dir.

Ok, when I talk I talk from the MVP/PCH and Ctrl-P I guess is play. I rarely use the PC as a PVRx2 client. What I meant was OK is working differently if you follow sub's standard it should only play the selected song and ctrl-p should do the queuing. Right now OK doesn't queue the whole folder, it starts at the current selection, but I think that is the right way to go.

Whatever the ActiveX control does, it causes FormLoad problems when I run from the PCH, I think there are errors with ACD, which I don't want to run anyway.

I installed the 0.44, and ran GBPVR. And I get the ActiveX error as well. Actually, I get a ActiveX error everytime a new song starts.
Everything works though.
I use it direct on my computer (XP)...

Edit: Found the error. After I registered the dll and ocx files in the ACD folder, there is no ActiveX error anymore.

Btw. Is there any plans for direct CD support?? It is Seldom I play them nowdays, but it would be nice to have the opportunity.

I wrote a scraper that downloads images from the swedish Ginza.se. It took about an hour so I am sure there are bugs but if you want to test it, it's in the package (and a music.xml for the commandlines, just drop the content in Plugins\Music folder and replace the Music.xml with the one in .asCoverArtDownloader folder, or make a backup of the existing music.xml if you want to go back.)

Two small fixes in Music.dll also.

- Some fixes for finding images in DB based modes. If tag Artist and Album exist and an
external software downloaded a Artist - Album.jpg image the plugin will try to read it,
if no other images found.
- CommandLine application is run as hidden and NoWindowCreation = SILENT!

I found a couple of things

- the home (keyboard) menu (remote) don't get you to the main menu, I need to hit back (maybe more than once)

- the toggle sort view on the wiki says F7 and there is no remote equivalent.

Thanks for the feedback, it was a quick fix to add 'home' support, added here in MusicDLL 0.0.0.46

About the F7 so can I only say that you have the option to use whatever key you like for whatever remote you have. In KeyMappings\MusicDB.xml you have a line with "LIBRARY_SORTVIEW", now set to F7... change that F7 to a "wanted" button from your RC, use the application ShowKey.exe in KeyMappings to find out what "key" your remote send per button.

You also mentioned two behaviours when hitting PLAY or OK button, how to queue or not queue. I reason that I handle them the same because if playing around in a music library the user don't have to "remember" if '-ahhh, did I play play or OK in the previous folder?'.. if you catch my drift... I queue everything, if it queues/d to much, press stop when you don't wanna listen anymore :-)... but maybe I think wrong.. I let it be up to MixMan.
