HI,
Has anyone out there managed to get the DTV1000s working correctly with GBPVR? These cards are good, and work with Media Portal and MCE just fine. However in GBPVR, it only picks up channel 7 (multiple instances, which is odd). The live TV part is totally erratic. When coming out of timeshifting, the sound is out of sync. It won't play, it won't stop, just totally unusable really, which is a shame, as the video side of GBPVR seems work really good, especially the menu system, and the fast forward and rewind. Mediaportal has quite a bit of trouble in that department, but the live TV part works OK. If you could just combine the Video part of GBPVR and the live TV part of MP....

Do a scan with this device then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll see if anything stands out.

I also have a DTV 1000 S and can't get it to work...

My problem is different though - I can't configure it as a capture source. This card doesn't exist in the list of tuners in the config. I tried selecting the DTV 1000T but this has a different chipset and gives me a BDA error when trying to scan for channels.

Should this card work with GBPVR?

Run filtercheck.exe from the gb-pvr directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log and I'll tell you what to add to your bda.ini file.

I've attached the log dir. I re-scanned this morning (20/10) so only those dates would be relevant.
Legiox, I edited the card definitions file using the info obtained from Grahphedit. It seemed to work OK, because at least it does find one channel. The result was the same, ie multiple instances of Channel 7, but no other channels.

regards

Is it a satellite card? Its hard to tell from the device or filter names. If so, try adding this to your bda.ini:

[Leadtek WinFast DTV 1000S]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=WinFast DTV1000 S BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=WinFast DTV1000 S BDA Digital Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

No, it's a DVB-T card. It uses a Silicon chipset which is what the 'S' designates.

I added the lines you suggested into the bda.ini file (substituting DVB-T for DVB-S) and can now select the tuner as a capture source, but when mapping the channels I am getting 0 signal and 0 quality.
It can't be an aerial problem as I plug the same cable into my HVR3000 (in the next PCI slot) and get a 100% signal which picks up all the channels no problem.

Any ideas?

Post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.
