All,

was trying to make some changes to the Wiki for better documentation, added v 1.3.7 for plugins but really don't understand the syntax and pages I need to access.

Sorry for ballsup :-)

If you are not happy with your changes, just go back to the Plugin page and click History (top/right-ish). you'll then see a list of the changes you have made - at the bottom of each change is a Restore link - if you click on that, I believe it will reverse the change out.

ACTMS,

am happy with my changes,

at least I've put 1.3.7 out there Smile

I just haven't got my head around how to edit this Wiki thing yet.

Just can't see how to update the plugins page. And there is so much more I would like to edit but stumped on first hurdle

Cheers

OK - here is a good place to start. There should also be a "SandBox" - where you can play about as much as you like without actually changing the real wiki. It's also useful to look at other folks pages.

yep!

just a thought: I think most people now know what a wiki is so you could probably do away with the "what is a wiki" section.

I don't agree with that statement, I had NO idea what a wiki was before I started using gb-pvr.......but then again I guess I'm not most people :p

Well once again the GBPVR Forums prove to be the most friendly place on the Web.

I was concerned that I'd mucked about with Blader_Se's First page and that wrath may descend on me.... Smile

ACTCMS and Hairy, thanks, I think the sandbox is a good idea for me!

gEd, I am along you way of thinking, the reason I messed about with the first page was to try and de-clutter it (sorry Blader but I suspect it was created many moons ago).

Fatman do, as usual a valid comment that just makes me smile.... I believe the French call that: a point, but without the relevant accents it's not quite the same, although having looked at it, a point may be right Big Grin

Jaggy, you could well be most people, what's your opinion on just having a link to Wiki explanation so as to de-clutter page as above?

Just trying to 'sex' it all up a bit..... and not have to scroll anything on first Wiki page.

Thoughts?

Cheers
