Hi All,

Thanks for looking. I couldn't find a post I was after so hence this one. I've been using GBPVR for years and successfully but recently I changed my OS and had to reinstall everything. I used to have (on the PC) automatic Divx conversion running which worked out nicely.

Divx is my preference as my recordings are streamed off tversity to a PS3 yadda yadda so I want to revert back to the previous setup.

After my clean OS, I reinstalled my Wintv Nova T with the latest drivers and the newest version of GBPVR and all works fine. It's now recording away but into DVR-MS files. In the config processing tab I set everything to Divx in a hope that would work.

My question is, what's the process of getting the conversion working? I feel I've missed some steps after reading about muxs and all that fun but it's been so long since I did this, I can't for the life of me remember how to get this working again.

Can anyone help with the missing pieces and get a clear guide how to get this back? Smile

You didn't backup anything from your old system? It's a bit hard to tell what you had installed before?
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

Sadly not - started fresh.

I really have nothing installed other than the drivers for the nova-t & GBPVR and Vista. Is there anything standard to check / install to get it coverting or is it meant to work right off the cuff?

Have you loaded the Cyberlink Mux ?? to convert from DVR-MS to DIvx using the inbuild support you need to load the Cyberlink Mux.

Follow this thread for the mux http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=7229

Give that a try and let us know !

Thanks Richard - i'll try that though I can't for the life of me find the Cyperlink mux. Do you know of a working link and/or and app that has this mux in, read that powerdvd etc doesn't have it in anymore?

Thanks!!

Can anyone help me on this - i'm at my wits end.

I've tried finding the Cyberlink mux on this site - no links work
I installed Cyberlinks power DVD in a vein hope - not in there
I downloaded codec/mux packs - not in there.
I downloaded DVRMSToolbox in a hope of using filewatcher.. guess what it needs a mux. When I run the muxchecker it always says there's no mux installed.

My recordings are working fine but saving in DVR-MS. They used to (before my format) record to mpeg > auto convert to divx.

Can anyone give me a newish cyberlink mux and/or help me out as I feel like i'm missing something real silly here.

I've attached screenshots of my setup/options

thanks so much!!

If you add your email address to your profile, someone may be able to help you out.
