ML2 / PVRx2 1.3.7 how-to?? install guide??

been desperately trying to get this up and running all day,
everyone on the forum seems to have the same error message, solved by different means!

can someone provide a walkkthrough for a stress-free install please?

i do a clean install of gbpvr, then ML2, ML2 appears in the plugin list, but no matter what settings i choose i get 'object reference not set to an instance of an object' when selecting ML2 from within GBPVR

any ideas?

do i need taglib or something like it?

a readme, or install notes with the plugin, would be verrrry helpful!

i have moved over to gbpvr after 3years with meedio. i don't want to have to go back...

Welcome

If you are having any problems, it's always best to zip and attach your logs (this post explains how). There are lots of members who will be able to help once they see what the problem is.

You most likely need to unzip the skins into the skin folder. This one always gets me if I reinstall.

Get this zip file and follow the directions here:

The issue is that ML2 is from before PVRx2 so it needs legacy skins that are no longer part of GBPVR.

Post the gbpvr.exe.logs and any musiclibrary2 log files and i'll have a look

yeah I had just seen that thread...

Try adding this to program files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\

and then post the logs after that.

Because ML2 is old (i.e. pre PVRX2) newer users do have problems with it because the skin directories that ML2 are expecting are not there.
