Music plugin support thread

Check the date of MediaScanner.exe in the GBPVR folder, I don't think the plugin changed.

They all have 2008 dates on them......looked in the zip....same thing...no 2009 dates.

I only access this via the PCH. How do I add a song to the Jukebox? For that matter, how do I play a song? When I just hit play, it lets the PCH take over. I got it to work right once, but I don't know what I did for that.

You need to run MediaScanner.exe from the GBPVR program folder (as administrator in Vista) and set the Scan hour as 0 since it doesn't support the MVP/PCH server. You have to do this whenever you add content. You can use the standard Music Library for dynamic content.

Only mp3 files are supported PCH2 mode others will go to the NMT player.

I've done that, and it shows the right number of files...but I can't get them to play. How do I load them as a playlist or load them into the jukebox?

I just found a bug in MediaScanner.
If there are no, zero folder.jpgs in the music folders, the MediaScanner will crash when creating MD5 thumbnail images of the folder.jpgs. Bekken will fix that bug.

Use Ctrl-K or Red button to add songs to the playlist. Play or Enter to play songs.

The red button just scrolls down the list of songs. It isn't adding any of them.

From the PCH I use Angle (which Is the the defined record key on the PCH)
