In this modern age of beautiful hdtv's and XBMC, I can't help but wonder why I'm not seeing hi-res Icons on my beloved gb-pvr. Sad

Really, it looks childish and unprofessional... The problem is I'm torn between xbmc (with it's great theme engine) Mediaportal (with it's great plugins) and gb-pvr (with it's solid tv tuning funtionality)

It's hard to juggle these programs though and I would love to ditch mediaportal and it's bloated mess of a tv-server for gb-pvr.

You any good with photoshop?

All kidding aside. We are trying to use higher res graphics in the future release. There is nothing we can do really about text at this point.

Really? well, at least the recording side of gbpvr is amazing.

I think I'll use it to record shows and play those in xbmc.
Thanks anyways.

What's wrong with the text? It looks pretty good on my 47" at about 7-8 ft away.

We'd need a whole lot more information, that is if you do actually want help. What theme are you using with the community skin? It's my understanding that text scales perfectly well in PVRX2. Do you have a problem with the text size? Is your problem with the "Icons" aesthetical/design?

I have to say, with the "backgroung" piccy release on my MVP the text is way more pixelated, its like the "Antianalising" has stopped working to smooth the edge of the text to the background...

However... This is also the case with "HiDef" broadcasts, to keep the quality thats the whole idea so it maybe just a side effect of Hi Def imaging....

Doesnt worry me, however is an odd thing...
Many Thanks
Ashley
