Fast Forward 2x, 4x, and 8x works, but not fast reverse.

Also Fast Forward with HD content is not very fast, would estimate 8x only 1.5-2x.

Any ideas?

It depends on the file type mpeg-ts doesn't have reverse, which is my biggest beef with the PCH. I use the other navigation methods like the 30 second reverse to get around this.

FF depends on raw network speed so it will max out (on my machine) at around 48 Mbs via http. There are some files where this is 0x. iframe based ff is on the roadmap, and I think it is working on dvd's

Martin

Can you tell me more about the 30 second thing, and point me to where I can get more info about PCH and GBPVR, as I havent found much about the two working together, unless I have been going round here with my eyes closed.

thanks

Steve

I think he is referring to the big round navigation button on the remote. If you push the left arrow twice, you will go back 30 seconds. If you push the right arrow twice, you skip forward 30 seconds. I had my PCH for about 3 weeks before I realized I could do that. Smile
