The MVP like the Hauppauge has an adjustment for the picture (contrast, Brightness, and color) when using the Hauppauge MediaMVP server software. My reds are bleeding. How would we adjust the picture using GBPVR MVP server?

Hey pbones,

best bet is to have a read over at shspvr.com/forum/ as there is a good bit of information there on different revisions of MVP's and some of them have colour issues.

Cheers,
Colin.

Have all of the cables covered; TV is optimally adjusted for all of my inputs including digital cable and DVD player. The MVP GBPVR is the only server running. Bottom line; I am looking to adjust the MVP hardware component.

There is no setting for adjusting this in GB-PVR. You could try adjusting it in the original Hauppauge software before switching to GB-PVR. I'm fairly sure it'll retain the setting (until you remove the power from connector of the MVP).

I have the same problem myself. I just adjust the TV right now (it has configurable memory settings) but would love to find a solution to hardware issue.

Please post if you find the answer.

I'm at work now so I have no idea. I'll check it when I get home and post it up.

Thanks!

Can I assume that the firmware is not downloadable and would be a limitation of the particular unit purchased at that time? I have two days before I have to return it or keep it.
