I try to make it work but I didnt know how.

Does anyone have working direct.ini files for this card.
I am interesting only for analog part of tuner because it is hybrid card.

Thanks

Unfortunately only the digital side of this device works with GB-PVR. The analog side lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

Hi sub,

I have a gigabyte U7000, which is the digital only version of the U7000. Is this tuner fully supported by your wonderful software?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Found my answer in the wiki page Smile Cheers anyway

Assuming its got BDA drivers, then it should work. If you the first user to try this device then you may need to add a new section to the bda.ini file for it though.

Im not sure if i have the BDA drivers. Ive only installed the one Gigabyte has provided for me. Im currently using Cyberlink Cinema which is just horrible and buggy. Also Vista Media Center for some reason cannot find the TV tuner.

Btw, is your software compatible with Vista x64?

Sorry to hi-jack this thread just quick questions.

It'll most likely have BDA drivers. Most cards made in the last couple of years have BDA drivers. If you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log, I can check.

From what I've read, yes it works with Vista x64.

Okay i tried it out on 2 notebooks.

First one was XP Pro SP2 32bit, it worked fine. Found all the channels etc.

Vista 64bit SP1 Home Premium on the other hand, it wont find or preview any channels though it sees Strength and Quality from the signal. It works fine on Cyberlink Powercinema...

I think it is having adverse effects with each other so i will do a clean install of the programs tonight.

Any ideas?

Post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

It wont let me attach the .txt files so ive zipped my logs folder and attached it.

The logs are after a clean install. It still not detecting any channels Sad

Ive only touched the Capturing Devices config, exactly the same thing i did for the XP install.
