Fatman / Hairy: This is the current UI for the "applier" exe. Is this style ok or is more information required or would be useful?

For example, log file info / progress bar / status info. If you have any ideas then feel free to post below.

Maybe a tag in there to say "Applying changes..."

That and a progress bar indicating it "doing something" should probably do it...

If this is a static image then I can put something together (along with the installer graphic) as we get closer to release.

I'd probable just have the new logo with something like:

"Please wait... while the community skin plugin applies your changes"

and if it's static, I could include some sort of progress bar graphics.

A static image like that would be great. Although it would just use a .NET progress bar as that, by definition, is not static.

Would the .NET progress bar need graphical elements made up or is there some sort of default included.

Edit: it doesn't matter really, these bits and bobs are handy enough to do and will be no problem. I'll just get the main bulk stuff done first.

I can't seem to edit this image. I've tried replacing the "..plugin\SkinPluginHelper\Resources\CS_logo.bmp" and it's reference (which I don't think effects it) here "shared\install" but I can't get it to show up.

Any suggestions?

I can replace the installer "Community.bmp" graphic and will make up a similar config theme preview image.

The exe will need to be rebbuilt with a new background - the image is not loaded at runtime.

Ah, I was tearing through all the files in the plugin folder trying to work it out Smile

Okay I'll try and put some sort of similar set together for the Applier UI, Installer and theme preview as soon as I can - (my best bet is to stick to the existing sizes, right?).
