3 items related to the Find All button and search guide results:

1. I love the Find All button in the TV Guide. However, it goes away once something is scheduled to record... why? I'd still like to be able to see the same list of upcoming shows, and which are set to record, etc.

2. It'd be nice if the Find All button appeared in Recordings. If I'm looking at a recording (be it Ready, Pending, or Recurring) it'd be nice to have the Find All button to see the upcoming shows.

3. Finally, I notice also that the search result given by the Search Guide and the Find All button doesn't list a show that has already started. If a show is on now, I want it to tell me that too. If it is lacking the logic to determine if a show that started in the past is still on, then just have it list shows starting up to 2 hours before the present time, and leave it to the user to figure out whether said show is actually still running (ie, better to err that way than simply pretend the show doesn't exist because it started five minutes ago)

Related to the last suggestion, how about having the current date and time appear on the Search Guide screen as well?

OK, I've added this for the next release.

I've added currently airing shows into the search results for the next release. They're not highlighted as anything special, but they are shown.

Was this ever available? Such as when I click "Find All" for MLB Baseball - I get 80 games, and when I select a game to record, I leave the list, and have to do the process again.

My real wish list is to be able to hit the record button from this list, instead of entering into a single item and then click quick record or record.

this thread was originally for GB-PVR, and the features requested were implemented and did make it to NextPVR as well. However, jghanisco's post does bring up something else I've asked to be improved before:

When looking at a list of "Find All" results, if the user selects an individual show to see the details or record it, then exits that show detail pop-up, the user is not returned to the Find All list, but rather returned to the original place where Find All was selected; the user then has to re-select Find All and navigate down the list again. This is really maddening when trying to find a specific instance of a show in a long list, or to go through the list and record desired instances of the show.

@sub - I'm pretty sure this one is in my long list of bugs, improvements and feature requests that I've posted before during pre-release cycles. I'm sure I'll post it again when the next pre-release starts. You await it with bated breath, I know! Big Grin

(why do I now imagine sub doing a little happy dance, saying "oh goody goody, Johnsonx's list of grievances is coming again soon!!! I just love that list, so many super-fun things to work on!!!"? it really makes no sense to imagine such nonsense, but there it is just the same)

Remind me when I'm back in NZ and I'll take a look.
