I don't suppose by any chance that the analogue RF section and/or s-video has hardware mpeg as required by gbpvr? Life would be bliss if it did!

I suspected as such - but I could have hoped. It would have been worth getting a new cheapo mobo to drop one into. (current has no pci-e slots

I have one of these, could not get it to work in Gbpvr. Only shows up as three tuners. If you select each one twice with a different card number, and then try to scan, it just crashes. I also have a nova t500 installed, this is detected correctly as two tuners. Can only seem to have 4 tuners available at any time, selecting any more, results in others disappearing. I have tried both the native and blackgold drivers to no avail. Would be interesting to hear how other got it working. Nothing wrong with the card, it is detected as 6 tuners in Mediaportal, and works just fine. MP is a bit resource hungry, was hoping GB might be a bit slicker, and responsive?

Well, so far I'm very impressed, sensitivity is great on both dvbt and dvbs. I have only setup 2xdvbt and 1xdvbs (I only have 1 LNB) but no crashes on scan (nice one Sub) it appears to be very stable so far........

I would be tempted to but another if only I had another PCIe slot, it massivley better than my Terratech 2400i in terms of sensitivity, and better than my technotrend 3200 (not hard though) in terms of stability and sensitivity.

hmmm I want another one just in case.......

BTW it came with no remote or CD etc...it looks like OEM fair, the seller is still showing greater than 10 available. Honest I'm not affiliated in any way.
I was a bit suspicious when it turned up in brown cardboard and no literature but it's all turned out nice.

I am encouraged, will give it another go. How did you set up the tuners, did your setup show as 2 of each type (6 in total). If not how did you manage to use more than one tuner of each type?. Any comments appreciated.

Tried again this morning. Managed to scan 1 DVB-S with lots of exception errors. Crashes all the time on DVB-T, any card. Says no BDA drivers found, even though they are there and card is recognised. Found TV very jerky with poor lip sync, regardless of codec used. I guess this one is not working for me. May try it sometime in the future, or on another PC. MP works for me, so will stick with that for the time being. All that said, this is a monumental piece of work for one man, I am very impressed by his efforts to date.
