Hey guys,

Loving GBPVR (really awesome) -- one thing that's bugging me is that seeking with a remote is a bit tedious. I do realise that you can input <number>-skip to skip ahead or back by that amount, but I'd really like to be able to seek to a specific time or even a percentage.

Say when you're watching a video or recording you start typing in numbers and it shows up on the screen like so:

first number:

0:00:05

third number:

0:05:00

And then when you press enter it seeks to that time.

You get the drift (though I don't really need the OSD even thought it would be nice, i'd just love the functionality)

Would this be at all possible? Would be it possible to write a plugin? (which I'd be willing to do if there's no other way to do this)

Thanks in advance.

do you use comskip
it gives you black bars on the time line where the adds are so you can skip them
but these black bars also give you a good visual of where you want to get to
ie a show 60 minutes long normally has about 3 or 4 black bars hold down 1 minute skip and your where you want to be in no time
