Sky HD in the UK

Can I use GB-PVR to capture HD stuff from a UK Sky HD box and control the box with a USBUIRT or something? Anyone done it? Is it impossible?

You would need an HD tuner and I hear the Hauppauge HDPVR can capture HD component. video.
I've not done it though, I don't have an HD subscription, so just get the BBC/ITV/Luxe HD channels via a Sat tuner.

I hear the new Sky HD boxes have no component output which is worrying, just SD via SCART or HDMI. I'd be interested to know if the HD-PVR IR blaster controls the Sky HD box, or if the USBUIRT works with it. I don't really want to be a pioneer!
