We have has numerous reports of this, but have not been able to duplicate it on my end. I need to do a more extensive investigation it appears.

We had a couple of people report this during testing, but to be honest I'm stumped.

A couple of questions:
Do you see this with the default GB-PVR's blue skin?
Do you see this with the old CS3 skin?
Could you try the attached TV guide skin?

Cheers

Tried it is much better. But when you change options in the skin plugin it reverts.

Try making the file read only.

Same answers for me, though I haven't yet installed the final version of CS4-SD, still on the march 11 beta. I fixed my font size by editing the xml file directly (as described in the CS4-Beta thread).

I will remove any traces of CS3 and CS4 beta and then install the release version later today and report.

ok, after I fully deleted the CS4-Beta by using the un-install menu item, and then deleted the directories containing CS3, I installed CS4-SD. Yes, the default tv guide text is rather large, BUT now I have no problem changing the text size from the skin plugin. I set it to -2, and it looks about right. So for me, problem resolved. Perhaps leaving CS3 installed is what caused the problem in the first place.

RattyDAVE, have you tried this and are you seeing the same thing?

Cheers

I'm seeing the huge font size in TV Guide. When I change the font size it makes the program listings look normal, but then the channel names become tiny.

The font size is correct with blue and the skin you posted. I had no problems with CS3 and I removed the CS3 and skin plugin directories before I installed CS4.
