It doesn't happen w/ every recording, but enough of my HD-PVR recordings have messed up time issues that it's a nuisance to manually run tsmuxer from the GUI every time.

Does anyone know how your supposed to run it from the command line so I can add it to PostProcessing.bat?

You need to create a .meta file that has the contents as shown on in the bottom box of the gui version then load the .meta file as an argument for tsmuxer

In post process you need to script this.

thanks for the reply, but it doesn't seem to work right

"tsmuxer.exe tsmuxer.meta" returns:

"Can't detect stream type"

This is just using the meta file I saved from the gui - not one I created on my own... & the GUI works fine on the file.

is there an English language version of the readme anywhere? Every download I find has the Russian version...

UPDATE: uploaded the meta file.

starting to figure it out w/o readme... it appears to need both the meta file and the file to transcode as parameters.

So I seem to have something figured out now, but it's the wierdest thing - If I run comskip on the file after fixing it w/ tsMuxeR, the timeline appears out of wack & skipping doesn't work.

Deleting the comskip output files causes makes the timeline show correctly when watching (of course I have to manually skip commercials, but skipping works again)

Oddly enough, if I run comskip on a file (whether timeline is bad or not) and THEN run tsMuxeR, everything is good.

The problem only occurs when I run comskip on a re-muxed file.

None as far as I know. But I plugged the Russian text into google translate and attached to this post is what it spit out (with a couple corrections added).

Hope this helps. I'm still unable to successfully demux a .ts file. tsMuxer runs, but finishes almost instantly with no ouput. Says successful, but nothing is ever demuxed. Oh well. I'll keep plugging along.

When you create a file using the GUI the bottom edit box has the meta file that is passed to the command line. I actually don't find tsMuxeR the best for fixing things except a bad timeline in the broadcast itself. Depending on what you trying to do TSRemux, TSDoctor and TS4NP can do more.

tsMuxeR.exe <meta file name> <out file/dir name>

Have you forgotten to enter <out file/dir name> ?

 (exsample) tsMuxeR.exe H:\selfless\self.meta H:\selfless

And, Is the .meta-text in Unicode? It may be good to make it ANSI.
