Duplicate messages

For the past few days I have had trouble submitting message replies, the board goes into a wait state and so I resubmit which give a duplicate message error but at least I am active again. I get this at work and home from different ISP, and in linux and Windows. Is anyone else seeing this?

If you wait long enough the forum will actually allow the resubmit as likely happened to sub yesterday. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=42810

I'll check it out. The web server or hosting provider network link seemed to be going particularly slowly yesterday.

No I didnt. I had a bit of a poke around on the machine, but it seemed to be performing alright. I'm guessing something is going on with the hosting companies network link.

I had the same problem a few hours ago, but having already seen Martin's post, I didn't submit again - I scrolled up and used Quick Links/Today's Posts and the post was there...

I've just seen it as well.
It seemed to be the posting/redraw that was slow. I opened a couple of other tabs to read more posts and they sped along as normal.

Edit: but this one was normal (sigh)

I've done changes which will hopefully help with performance of the forum database.

Let me know if see the problem is still happening.

It is still happening. I just got it twice. After the first error I allowed NoScript process GBPVR.com but it didn't help. Because of the timing I wonder if this is a Firefox 3.5 problem?

Probably not Martin - I'm using an ISP supplied version of IE7
