NMT and 1.3.11

Hi

I get a version conflict using the installer. I still use 1.3.11 as I can't get the install of 1.4.7 to work.

Should I follow the survivalguide to get it to run?

Does wake on lan work with the NMT devices?

You should be okay if you download http://www.mvpmc.org/~mvallevand/NMTInstall.xml.1.3.11

Once NMTInstall starts and downloads the current 1.4.7 file, you should be able to replace NMTInstall.xml with the old version which should work to get the GBPVR updates. I can't guarantee how long the update files will stay on the forum.

Before doing this, remove GBPVRRecordingService.zip from the mvpmc folder if it is there, I installed this update for a few days until I find out sub patched the main installer. You will also have to remove all the zips to upgrade to 1.4.7 since my date check logic will be lost.

It works. Took a few tries to get the timing right, VNC slows things down. After that it was a case of reading the guide.

The HBX-1000 is now up and running, some tweaking with USB drive and will be all set. I will read up in the forums and hopefully I can get WOL and auto start to work (and 1.4.7 installation).

I can't seem to get the timing right, it keeps downloading the 11-13-2009 version.

Which file are you talking about?

If it's mvpmcx2 I can confirm the latest version works fine on a fully updated version of 1.3.11, I only realised the other day after your message in the other thread that I still haven't updated my server but I have updated mvpmcx2.

Originally 1.3.11 didn't support PCH2 mode so you will need to get the updates shown in the xml file for the current version of mvpmcx2 to work properly or you need to go back to the obsolete version of GBPVR that uses the NMT player mono. You can install both versions of mvpmcx2 with NMTInstall.
