If I use a NMT (iobox or PCH) with GB-PVR will this provide OSD of the the tv guide and PVRX2 menus to the NMT? Or does this setup just allow playback of recorded files by the NMT? Thanks.

It gives you the full GBPVR experience with recordings,tv guide, live tv, net radio, music, etc, etc.. Almost anything you can get on your PC on GBPVR is available on the NMT. There might be some file types that you can't run, but most everything is available.

Thanks for the info. I have installed GB-PVR/PVRX2 using the NMTInstall app. I created and can connect to the share smb//:IP/mvpmc. On the NMT I can see and load a GB-PVR.html file from the share. When accessed, the html file provides 3 options: GB-PVR, GB-PVR via Network Browser, and GB-PVR via USB. When I select any of them, I get the following error: Request cannot be processed. It appears this error is given by the NMT. I can see and access both the gbpvr and mvpmc shares via other networked computers. I can access the GBPVR web server using http://IP:7647/gbpvr. So why does the NMT have problems? Do I need to edit the .cgi files? I noticed that they have a section the calls out hostname:device when I select one of the 3 options stated above.

Most of the time that error is because you didn't accept the NMT default name for the share which is hostnameConfusedharename You should edit GB-PVR.html to edit the share name using a linux style editor.

Also go to the setup maintenance menu and press file mode and clear cache or your changes might not show up.

Thanks all. That problem is now resolved. However, when I select the GB-PVR option in the GB-PVR.html file, the screen goes blank, flashes several times, then goes black for 20-30 seconds. Then the screen reappears and dumps back into the Start screen of the nmt. Is this a resolution issue or some other configuration issue?

30 seconds means it loads but can't find the server. This normally could be that you have a firewall blocking client access or you don't have the GBPVRRecording service running.

It was the firewall and / or recording service. It now allows me to view the GB-PVR menu on the nmt. However, it is mostly off the screen and slow to move. It also breaks up when I select options. During install I selected the 720 option. The nmt output is set to 1080p. Is this the problem? Can I change the 720 to 1080? I did not see anyway of doing so in the config app. Does the video renderer selection affect this setup? Thanks.

Compress and upload your GBPVR logs and your config.xml file and I will have a look.

Also do you use a firewall other than the Windows firewall, NMTInstall is supposed to enable the firewall setting unless you tell it not to.

The GB-PVR server has webroot firewall installed. Should I disable webroot and enable windows firewall now? Config and log files attached.
