I have recently added popcorn hour to my setup and had to change my mux to ts. However, I am having timeline issues with my recordings on the main TV. Compskip cuts used to be perfect with dvr-mx, not any more. The video goes out of synch sometimes for no obvious reason. There are random forward jumps that are annoying, again for no obvious reason.

I cannot go back to dvr-mx, I really hope there is a way around this, or better yet, a fix. My recordings are all ATSC 720p and 1080i. I use Nvidia purvideo decoder which worked perfectly with dvr-ms.

Are you seeing a/v sync problem on the PCH? There is an easy explanation if you are using a wireless bridge as you wrote here http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=9

No, on the server, the PCH works fine.

Sub stated in another thread that he knows the cause of this issue and has/will fix it for the next release. I don't think he can issue a patch because his current codebase is probably incompatible with 1.4.7 now.

I'm not sure this is his problem though (unless maybe he's running comcut, or has bad reception). The specific fix I was referring to was related to the behaviour around plugin of .ts files which the timeline is discontinuous, like when bad reception causes sections of a show not to be recorded.

Correct, and I've moved to Visual Studio 2008, which requires new runtime libraries etc.
