Hi,

1. I've installed zProcess under GBPVR 1.4.7 but I get the following ffmpeg error messages when I try to use it. Is it supported under GBPVR 1.4.7?

2. Is MVPScreenPosition required or not? I did try to install
MVPScreenPositionv91.zip a few months ago but could not get my
MediaMVP to work afterwards so I removed it. Is MVPScreenPosition
compatible with the GBPVR 1.4.7 slick skin?

3. ZToolsSupportSoftware.zip - this contains some files that are older than
the files I already have in c:\windows\system32. Do I need to install your older copies anyway?

Yes the current version of ZProcess is compatible with 1.4.7. I haven't noticed a newer or different version of ffmpeg shipping with 1.4.7, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Typically, when you install dlls and ocxs (like in the support software) you can keep the newer files, and not overwrite. the dlls should be backward compatible. Most people are not experiencing an issue one way or another.

It is probably related to MVPScreenPosition. Even with the dll removed or app deleted, it may have left some settings in the config.xml. Look for a section with your mvp mac address... remove it

Also, you shouldn't have to do it, but you may still want to uncheck the 'lock to mvpscreenposition' check box.

And one more thing... almost straight across the board, MEncoder will work better for you that ffmpeg, if you are using typical divx/xvid AVI torrent downloads...

I've rewritten the wiki page to be as simple and straightforward as possible.

1. I resolved all my outstanding issues with MVPScreenPosition,
it's now working great. There is NO incompatibility with the
slick skin.

2. I still can't get ztranscode to work right, even with your test video.
See the attached image, does anything obvious stand out?

3. I'm using Windows XP, GB-PVR 1.4.7, MediaMVP.

Although it's quite hard to see in those screenshots, I think you're using ffmpeg. Yes, It should be able to work, but as suggested earlier, MEncoder seems to work better for many to most.
