Hi!

Does anybody "out there" have knowledge about using DVB EPG Broadcast with Danish cable provider Yousee?

Hardware = Terratec Primergy C PCI.

When I choose "Update EPG", GBPVR will record up to one minute from each frequency in my tuning file, then run through them very (very) quickly, but without updating the EPG.

In the logs I can see, that GBPVR actually tries to extract info for each tuned channel, but this happens in something like a split-second. I would expect this to take a little more time than it does.

I read somewhere in this forum about a (similar) problem, where an entry like "E=T" (the channel was assumed to be encrypted) had to be removed from a bda scan file, but I cannot find such an entry anywhere.

Any ideas/howtos?

Click the 'update epg' button in the config app, then let it complete, then post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log, and I'll take a look.

Here are the log files.

I deleted all the config*.log files, som this should be "clean". A new config.exe.log was created during the run, so I include all of them.

In those logs it looks like it did find lots of EPG info. Did nothing end up in the TV Guide?

Nothing shows up at all. I enclose a dump of my TV Guide.

Could I be doing these things in the wrong order? What I have done is:
- Add a recording source
- Select my tuner card
- Select DVB EPG Broadcast as source
- Click "Map digital channels..."
- Accept to update EPG listings

Are you on Vista or Win7? If so, try deleting the "C:\Users\<Your Acount>\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Devnz" directory.

Nothing that modern.

I'm running Win XP Pro SP3 with all the latest updates.
Antivirus is AVG Free 9.0

Only other SW is Terratec Home Cinema and some MS Utilities.

If you dont mind deleting your capture source, can you try recreating it, then post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log after a scan?

Hi!

Sorry for the delay - I had to go on a business trip, which unfortunately takes time away from more important matters Smile.

I went as far as to uninstall GBPVR and re-install it, so this should be a more og less "clean" install. When i write "more or less" it is because I did not get all the right channels in the first scan, then had to do a re-scan, and finally had to correct a bad choise of channel.

I enclose all the logs + database + config.xml. I hope you can help me.

Regards.

Same problem here with TechnoTrend CT-3650 CI DVB-C + T USB 2.0 CI on XP SP3. No errors found in logs.

Here is my workaround http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=45714.
