Thanks to dhbg256 that helped with the excel macro and mvallevand, that made string converstion utility.
We now has a working easy to use translation function.
I have ported all old translations into the "system" and strings that where not translated, I had Google translate.
I have also made it possible to translate languages that didn't have any translations earlier, but they are all Google translations.
But they might be good anyway, and it should definatly be easier, than doing the translation from scratch.

Go and have a look at:
http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/Translation

There are more than 50 languages translatable. Current are:

*Afrikaans
*Albanian
*Arabic
*Belarusian
*Bulgarian
*Catalan
*Chinese (Simple)
*Chinese (Traditional)
*Czech
*Croatian
*Danish
*Dutch
*English
*Estonian
*Farsi
*Filipino
*Finnish
*French
*Galician
*German
*Greek
*Hausa
*Hebrew
*Hindi
*Hungarian
*Icelandic
*Indonesian
*Irish
*Italian
*Japanese
*Korean
*Latvian
*Lithuanian
*Macedonian
*Malay
*Maltese
*Norwegian
*Pashto
*Polish
*Portuguese
*Portuguese (Brazil)
*Romanian
*Russian
*Serbian
*Slovak
*Slovenian
*Spanish
*Spanish (Mexico)
*Swahili
*Swedish
*Thai
*Turkish
*Ukrainian
*Vietnamese
*Yiddish

Really nice function in that Excel sheet.
I had an overlook of the BDA files last summer, but I did it manuallly.
Have a look here:
http://www.hyperlinkx.com/pmwiki/pmwiki....hannelScan

The DataPull macro that I found copies data from a Data sheet to the Main sheet, but it has to be done manually for every cell.
If this macro would continue with next cell in column B after pulling data and "run the macro again", (loop through all values in column A in the Main sheet) it could update a list of values automatically from another sheet.
The DataPull macro can be found here:

I can't get my head round what you are trying to do.

Post a copy of the sheet with some words about how it should work. I can't promise a result but ...

can't you just select all the fields you want to update then apply macro to them all?
if not seems a simple numbered loop would suffice..

Selecting all will just update the first of the seleted cells.
Yes, a loop of cells in selected column is needed.

I have gotten translations in Czech, Italian, Estonian and Finish now.
Need to "pull" in those translations into the Main sheet....before creating new type of translation XMLs

There was a time that I tried working with Excel sheets...

But I discovered it's much easier to open a full sheet into a virtual record set, make the modifications, and then export to a brand new excel sheet when saving...

Hey Mixman,

I am pretty handy with excel macros (VB in general), I can help if you want. If you post a copy of the spreadsheet and let me know what you need done I can probably get it done for you.

Also, have you looked at doing a select usedrange and then move through the columns running the macro for each column?

Here you go. It is PAINFULLY slow, but it goes through all the rows. I turned off screen updating, so you won't see the data until it is finished. It displays a message box saying "Done" when it completes. Let me know if this isn't what you were looking for.
