I've just uploaded v0.90.10 to http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR09010.msi

If you're preforming an upgrade, I recommend you take a back up of the gbpvr.mdb file incase there is any problems during the upgrade process.

2005-02-10 v0.90.10
- Fixed a bug that would stop the live preview mode from working with the Overlay renderer.
- Fixed a bug that could cause shows to be broken in 20MB chunks on the second and subsequent channel in timeshift TV mode
- Fixed a skin bug that could make you think some of you recordings are missing. An incorrect number of recordings were being shown, which made the list look only half full
- Fixed a bug that could cause cancelled recordings (within about 20 minutes of record time) to record anyway.
- Fixed a bug where if you closed GB-PVR when viewing live preview mode tv, the recording service would think the capture device was still in use for a while.
- Fixed a bug that for people with Hauppauge cards using fixed-channel tuner option in timeshift mode.
- Removed some extra debug messages that were left in and resulting in large log files.
- Fixed a bug that could cause a new connection to be used for each recording loaded. This should also help load times in the recording screen and tv guide if you've got a lot of recordings.
- Added support for separate volume and channel buttons on the new 45 button Hauppauge remote, and on the MCE remote.
- The config app will now compact the gbpvr.mdb database on closing.
- Changed the way rendering is performed. This will provide a reasonable improvement to menu and plugin screen performance, and should be quite noticeable on slow machines.
- Changed the frequncies in all DVB-T transponder definition files to include offsets in the frequency.
- The TV Guide now wraps around. You can also now press FF/RW to jump forward or back page (2 hours) in the tv guide. On the 45 button Hauppauge remote or MCE remote, the channel up/down buttons will perform page up/down. For those that dont remember, you can also type channel number and press enter to jump to that channel. SkipFoward/SkipBack jumps forward/back a day.
- Some changes to the version upgrade procedure.

Thanks Sub, gbpvr is super responsive now! [Image: smile.gif] even on my M10000N with only 256MB ram  [Image: tounge.gif]

And, no problems what so ever with the upgrade.

There has been one stupid mistake spotted in this release. Unfortunately I was racing to get the release out before the end of the weekend, and did all my testing with the new 45 button remote.

If you have the old Hauppauge remote and run the Hauppauge IR software (IR.exe) you'll fine the up/downl/left/right buttons will not work. This is because I've changed some of the settings in irremote.ini to provide more functionality for the new 45 button remote, but at the same time broke the old remote.

To correct the problem, edit c:\windows\irremote.ini and change the [GB-PVR] section. Change these four lines:
<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample
</td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">CHNLUP={pgup}
CHNLDOWN={pgdn}
VOLUP=+
VOLDOWN=-
into
<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">
CHNLUP={UP}
CHNLDOWN={DOWN}
VOLUP={right}
VOLDOWN={left}
After editing these settings, you'll need to restart the Hauppauge IR software by clicking Start -&gt; Programs -&gt; Hauppauge WinTV -&gt; Restart IR.

Users of the newer 45 button remote dont need to do anything. This also doesnt affect MVP users or those using the Hauppauge remote through the Direct Access mechanism.

Sorry folks.

Anyone having trouble with the web interface part. With the previous version I was getting the web interface connection, but it said it could not find the index.aspx file. After upgrading to 0910, I can't even connect to the web server at all on 7647.

nostep, my web interface is working great. After upgrading, it did reset my port to the default, I was running on another port number, and it also reset the user and password to defaults.

Wasn't there an issue with people who updated the recent MS .NET update this last week? chasef &amp; nostep, did you update your Windows critical updates this last week?

Great work Sub!
I have however had a rather annoying problem for the last two versions; when in Live TV mode, TV is unwatchable because it skips every one and a half to two and half seconds. However! Recordings are fine, and if you pause and immediately unpause Live TV, it's fine! Not a skip! So it implies some kind of bug rather than a spec issue, perhaps? I'm using Hauppauge PVR-350 with the X-Card.
Thanks!

Try incrementing your live tv pre-play delay. It might help.
