My GPVR computer used to always enter standby after 1 hr of inactivity, and then turn back on when required to make recordings. Lately though, for roughly the past 3 weeks, it's just staying on all the time. At first I thought it was because I was recording the Olympics, but with that event over I now know that's not what's causing it.
The only thing I think I might have done to cause this problem is to start using a concurrent user hack to allow a laptop to remote into the computer w/o logging off the current user. The weird thing is that this hack was performed over a year ago; I used it a bunch at first and then left it alone for a good 11 months before using it again.
I've checked task manager for rogue processes, but don't see anything unusual (doesn't mean I know what half the stuff in there is). I just noticed that the computer isn't going into screen saver either, and I currently don't have PVRX2 running - so I don't think it is a GBPVR problem.
If anyone has some tips of things to check, I'm all ears!
Thanks in advance!
