I have tried to use the configuration as a WinTV 250 (which system says is installed when box is checked), and I have tried to use it as a PVR150. When I choose the 250, I get nothing on the live tv screen, it just stays black and the processor is hogged, and I have to use Task Manager to kill it. When I choose it as a 150, I am able to at least see the guide information for the channel its on, but no audio or video and can easily close out of it.

I have attached the filtercheck log. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

Its a PVR150.

Try to set it as a PVR150m, then try watching live tv, then post the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Here are the logs you requested. Thanks for the help.

Edit: there was no live tv again, just able to see the guide information.

The first thing I'd try is putting the audio renderer back to 'system default'.

I'm not really sure. The log looks generally ok now.

I don't know if maybe my tuner has went bad. I did a fresh install of XP yesterday thinking that when I tried this tuner the other day, it was just a case of xp being messed up. I rebuilt this and tried it, and even in WinTV this is locking up. I have a usb adapter I will try to see if it will at least try the software. Thank you for your help.

Try winTV with the a/v inputs (or Svideo), to see if the card is talking to the system at all ?
