The first time I run GBPVR after rebooting, it just hangs & never starts. If I cancel it & restart it, it is fine & I won't have the problem until I boot again. It has been this way for a few releases, at least. When I cancel it, it creates 0 length log files. I realize that there is no point in posting them. I remember sub posting some entry you can make in the registry to get a log file created in C:\Temp, but I could not find the post when I searched for it. I was thinking that maybe I could turn that on & figure out what is happening. This is just a minor issue with an easy work around so I haven't mentioned it before. (Also, I'm the only one this affects - if my wife or child ran into it, I'd have to resolve it.)

So, basically, I just want to know what that registry entry is to get GBPVR to write a log to C:\Temp.

Thanks,
Elihu

Are you in Win7 with a solid color for the desktop? This will cause PVRX2 to fail to start properly. If you want a solid color, create a jpg or bmp using Paint or something, and set it as your desktop background. Apparently a known Win 7 bug. Search for recent posts by me on the hardware forum for a longer discussion.

Not using Win7. Using Win XP. It's just the first time after I reboot, which I do rarely. I'm not sure how long this had been happening before I noticed the pattern. It just seemed like occasionally it wouldn't start, then I noticed it was only the first time after rebooting.
