Sorry, but there isnt one at this stage. I will be adding one in the near future though.
Same thing happened when I moved from GBPVR.exe to PVRX2.exe. It didnt have a search for a couple of release. I'm not sure why, but I dont find myself using this feature often. What do people what the search to look like? Largely like the GB-PVR search screen, or something different? Before suggestion grand ideas, remember its got to be easy to use, and easy to drive with either a remote or keyboard.

Sorry my bad. Just seen in other thread that this has not been implemented yet.

I think the current one works pretty well as it is, so here's a +1 for hoping it makes the transition into the new version. Iain

I like the search functions in gbpvr.
Never really gave it too much thought. It just worked. Which I suppose if you think about it is a compliment.

I like the way the old one worked and it gets a lot of use here. with a few minor exceptions.
(1) the phone/text entry from an MVP/NMT remote went missing between gbpvr and pvrx2 and was sadly missed. (2) very minor, but there was no indication that there was a text entry facility available at all - I don't know - a box or blinking cursor for text entry at the top?? (3) pressing the record key, having found something normally turns the entry red and queues it for record. If it didn't turn red, this was a clue there might be a conflict, but you had to back all the way out to the TV guide or somewhere to find why.

probably won't jump to the new version for a month or so, but i'm watching with interest and looking forward to it. On the search side i liked the old implementation but want a couple of things, the ability to narrow search by channel, perhaps after an all channels search, also display the current date on the screen somewhere and maybee also the weekday that the results are being shown, i.e. Sun, mon .....

A search guide just like GBPVR would be fine as I use this feature a lot.
Also any chance of looking through just one channel to see whats on. Scrolling down the screen with EPG data of the highlighted program shown at the botton would be brilliant Thanks for 2 very good programs Keep up the good work FN |
