I'm clean installing Windows 7, and I have the installation and setup of GBPVR down cold. I can't seem to find any instructions for setting up NPVR.

Is setting NPVR up similar than setting up GBPVR?

Yes and no. Basically, right click and go to the Settings menu and you'll have tabs on the left side with which to set up your devices and folders. I think it's too early for any info to be posted on the Wiki since it's still in beta but as time goes by, they should have updated info there for NPVR.

It's Beta, but is it stable enough to use all the time? Or should I stick with 1.4.7?

I gave my opinion in your other post asking the same question. It's an early beta that's been in testing for a little while so there are bugs to get out. Unless it's worked like you want it to, I wouldn't suggest getting rid of GBPVR just yet.
