I am getting tired of ts time line issues. I now fix all ts files with videoredo after recordings are done, but skipping and going back during playback is problematic and often the system will just exit playback. It appears to have more problems going back in the time line than going forward. I thought the files had issues, but even with videoredo the behavior is the same.

Is there a switch to make playback use NMT video player permanently rather than having to press USB before the OK button? If not, it would be a nice feature.

Sorry, it sounds like you have a general digital video quality issue that really isn't related to mvpmcx2 and VideoRedo might not be helping. It could be something simple like you are missing a GBPVR patch.

If you let an hour show play through without skipping I can look at the logs to see if I see anything.

There is already a command line option to use the native player I just can't remember it offhand.

Show off. That looks right, but zaldwalk it is very lightly tested.

Only that I was already telnetted into the pch while experimenting with wol from nas startup to gbpvr server.

Great! that worked fine.

martin, thanks I will do an hour of playback and upload the logs. Do you care if comskip enabled for auto skipping?

Without comskip, just to see how your the timeline is being reported. You will have to "undo" the new command line switch with USB Eject Ok

I started playback of a 2-hour show last night around 11:35. I have attached the logs. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks.

That file looks like it has a very good timeline, could you try navigating in it until you reproduce a problem.

Thanks.

I experience timeline issues with ~1 in 20 files, and have to remux it to 'fix' the negative value. This happens with two machines both running full 1.47 installs. Where do I add --mono-mpeg with a CSI installed mvpmcx2? I'd like to try it.
