I currently have the following TV receivers/tuners:
Hauppauge WINTV-HVR 950Q and Hauppauge WINTV HVR 1950

Both of these USB receiver/tuners work wonderful (and at the same time) with Microsoft Media Center but I would like to try a different software that allows more updates and options.

I've looked all over this site for a definite answer to my question...could anyone please help me by letting me know if I can use these 2 tuners at the same time with THIS software?

Thank you!

I'm not quite sure why others who have at least tried two USB tuners haven't replied to your question & I can't give you a definite answer but everything I have read says it should work for you fine using either the old GB-PVR or the new NPVR, I currently have seven PCI tuners in my system & they all work fine, maybe someone with dual USB tuners could add to this?

Sorry - I missed this post. Yes, you can record 2 shows at once with your setup that has an HVR950Q and HVR1950. Infact, the multirecord feature will often enable you to record more than 2 shows at once.

If you want more reassurance, for years (before HD) our setup was a dual tuner USB Adaptec AND a Hauppauge PVR USB2. My wife regularly had all three tuners going at once. Worked great!
