sub, you'll be aware of course of the silly situation we have here in the UK where some of our channels share (almost) the same tuning information but broadcast at different times of day, eg CBBC/CBeebies during the day, and BBC Three/BBC Four in the evenings.
In GBPVR if you tuned into BBC Three during the day, then although the popup and EPG data would be correct, you would actually see the picture/sound for CBBC. NPVR seems cleverer now (?), so it knows not to do this, and you just get a black screen.
Can I suggest you implement a function that allows us to provide details of when these channels are off air, and have NPBR display a custom image on screen if we happen to tune in during that time. That way we could replicate STB functionality that usually displays an MHEG overlay telling you the channel is off air.
Perhaps a simple file containing tab-delimited entries such as:
Thanks
Iain
