Hi Guys

I have searched but can't find a answer

Im looking at getting another LNB so I can pickup Optus D2 (already getting D1)

I have a Win TV Nova-S Plus tuner and need to know if i can use the 22khz switch or have to go with a Diseqc.

Also has anyone had any dealing with a company called JaCe Solutions?

Cheers

I'm pretty sure the Hauppauge interface only supports diseqc switches.

Hi Guys

Have got my lnb's installed and my diseqc switch, can see both Optus D1 and D2 but only if i swap the cable.

I have tried all the options incuding using Wintv from hauppauge but I don't seem to be able to get it to work.

The only thing I can think of is that I have the wrong setting in my LNB's.

They are both 11300's

Has anyone got any experience with these, or any ideas.

Cheers

Hi Guys

Still trying to get this Diseqc to switch.

Can anyone explain the following to me? Please :-)

When I Scan for channels in config on the difference Disecq options A,B,C,D i get the following results in config.exe-native.log

2010-07-05 12:47:21.031 VERBOSE SendDiSEqCCommand_Hauppauge
2010-07-05 12:47:21.281 VERBOSE Sending diseqc command: E0 10 38 FF
2010-07-05 12:47:21.531 VERBOSE Hauppauge_SendDiSEqCCommand completed

The E0 10 38 ?? number from what i can tell from the web is the command to switch the diseqc, the ?? being the code sent to the diseqc to switch LNBs

The codes its sending are:
for A
Not tested (its working at the moment)
for B
E0 10 38 F7
E0 10 38 F5
for C
E0 10 38 FB
E0 10 38 F9
for D
E0 10 38 FF
E0 10 38 FD

From what I have read in the Bus function Spec on Diseqc at the Eulesat website, I am not able to find these codes.

I have also tried the "BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod>1</BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod> " setting in the config.xml however the codes remain the same.

Have I setup something wrong?
Are these the codes the Hauppauge Nova-S Plus generates? can they be changed?

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Yes, "E0 10 38 xx" are the commands sent to control a diseqc switch.

The <BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod> setting wont make any difference with a Hauppauge device. It'll only effect the diseqc control method used with Twinhan tuner cards. There is only one way to do control diseqc control on Hauppauge DVB-S devices.

I'm not really sure what to suggest for you. I'm not much of a diseqc expert, but those values are those recommended by Hauppauge and have worked fine with my Nova S Plus for accessing two satellites connected to a 4 way diseqc switch.

will have a chat with my supplier and see what he can do.

Hi Sub

I have had the switch tested by the suppliers and it works fine.

I have searched Hi and Low and tried every combination under the sun.

I was wondering if you have the settings you use with your Nova S Plus, Diseqc and if you could post them for me.

Also which brand of switch you are using, as there appears to be some that work better than others

Cheers
