Tuner Allocation

I'm curious how this should work......I set 1 analog recording in NPVR and 1 in Media Center at the same time. Only the Media Center recording worked and I think it was because it's padding was a minute earlier than NPVR.
So, why would NPVR not record with the second available tuner at the same time MC was? This is obviously something I don't do but I was curious and gave it a try.

It'll only try the recording the tuner was allocated to. If that tuner was in use another application, it'll mark the recording as failed with some error.

GBPVR was the same - if at recording time the tuner was in use in some other application then you'd get a failed recording.

This is something you'll need to manage manually. ie, just make sure you're not trying to use a device in two applications at the same time.

Thanks sub. It was just a test as I don't usually use MC on this system.
Other than that, tuner allocation seems to be working well now.
