Dumb newbie question

Hi all, I just built a PVR machine, and bought a Hauppauge WinTV PVR2 to use with it.

If I plan to use only GB-PVR, do I need to install any of the Hauppauge software, or just the driver?

You also need an MPEG2 decoder on your machine. If you dont have one, then one is usually installed with the Hauppauge software.
