Are there any plans to update the windows vista/7 GB-PVR status gadget for NPVR/NEWA? I don't even know who wrote it, but it was distributed with EWA before wasn't it?

Yeah, I plan to update it if UJB doesn't do it first. It just wasn't real high on my priority list but I'll look into it this weekend. It shouldn't be difficult to update since it just reads the rss xml data feed from EWA.

I haven't tested but unless UJB has changed the format of the rss feed, you may be able to just change the connection port to the NPVR web port.

The gadget was updated for NPVR....If you load it from NEWA then you will be using the NPVR compatible version.

It is updated....feel free to change as you see fit....it was a bit of a PITA since the status processing totally changed. Big Grin

oh, I didn't realize it was already updated. I had tried the one I already had installed, but I had forgotten how it even got installed in the first place...

thanks, it works fine.

Go to the statistics tab of NEWA (or EWA).....if you are running Vista or W7 you should see the option to install the gadget.
