Can a Mygica X8550A get HD over component connection?

I just purchased a Mygica X8550A tuner card. See a description here: http://www.meritline.com/mygica-x8550a-p...36181.aspx (I got mine off Ebay, but it's the same.) It has component connections in addition to a QAM/ATSC tuner. Is there any way I can get an HD signal from my STB using the component connectors with either GBPVR or NPVR? I think I can't with GBPVR, but I was hoping I would be able to with NPVR if I installed that.

I'm fairly that device only does standard definition over the component inputs. There is a version of the Hauppauge HVR-2200 which provides the same type of component input. This cant be used for high definition or progressive video.
