Exception during channel scan

Whilst doing a channel scan on either of the two tuners on my Nova-T 500, I get the the Exception below. I had to click on Continue (actually I pressed and held down C!) quite a few times before it stopped popping up. It doesn't pick up many channels either (9), so probably the error occurs after the first mux.

No. I didn't know where it would be created so I searched my C: for it and there isn't one.

I'v also seen this exception occationally but everything works in spite of the message so I haven't bothered to report it. When I'v seen it nothing else seems to be wrong so I recon' it's a false errormessage :o

Unfortunately it resulted in it only picking up 9 channels though, so it wasn't just a false error for me I'm afraid. Mediaportal picks up 60+ TV channels and maybe 10 Radio channels, so I know they're available

I see, don't know it it has anything to do with what OS it's running under, I run W7-x64 on all computers and both dvb-t and -c scans fine.

I run XP Pro SP3 32bit. I imagine there must be plenty of other users also running this OS who aren't getting this error.

This patch wont fix it, but I've added some more logging. Try reproducing the problem and repost the npvr.log.

Recreating the exception (after sevral attempts) showed up to be not the exact same exception, this is the one I usually got, but not every time I scan. Logs and exception text attached.

I dont think your problem is related to doveman's error.

I think you problem relates to an issue we saw in the past with GBPVR, and also during testing with NPVR, where the Multidec plugin (or ffdecsa) was leaving the CPU floating point unit in an inconsistent state, and could cause the next .net DateTime.Add() operation to fail. I'm pretty sure if you disable multidec the problem will go away.
