My kids really miss the colored rectangle that appeared beside recordings that have been watched, any chance it will reappear?

It would be welcomed back.

I found with GBPVR that if you viewed to the very end of a recording, the green bar did not appear to show that it had been viewed - only if you stopped before the end.

As this is the wishlist thread I would add it would be nice to have two different coloured bars, one that it has been partially watched & one that it has been completely watched, but that also adds a "how does it know it has been completely watched if it has post padding" into the equation.

Since this is a wishlist thread, I would second Jaggy's wish for a different "partially viewed" and "completed" indicators. Good question as to what constitutes completed though since I'm sure no one does watch the padding Smile

A simple solution would be : (less than or equal to post-padding left) = Completely watched Smile

that might not fly if the last 5 mins of the show are cut due to comskip...

A percentage might be better, if 90 some odd percent have been watched then "all" has been...

Comskip would have to be ignored for the purpose of complete/partially watched. After all, comskip is just cosmetics Smile

It is not quite as simple as that, first off I don't know if NextPVR knows about the padding after a recording is done & then there is also the credits (sometimes a lot of credits on some films) that I for one don't watch that has to be taken into account as well.
One thought I have had as well as some educated guess that NextPVR uses would be a user over ride key to toggle it from one to the other, then even if you had only watched 1/2 of it but weren't going to watch the rest the others (in my case the wife) would know you had finished watching it.

I would really like to have this in the video library as well. It would even be enough if I could have two icons representing these both states.
