You don't appear to have a valid MPEG-2 video decoder selected on the Decoders screen in Settings, or if you do there's something wrong with it.
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct
main client: NextPVR 5.0.7 Desktop Client; LG 50UH5500 WebOS 3.0 TV

attached are 2 screenshots of gbpvr and npvr. gbpvr is working fine.

btw, I realize in the screenshot the mpeg2 is disabled, it was just because I was trying all the settings since none of them worked.

Those screenshots tell me nothing - in GBPVR you have everything set to System Default, from which I can glean no information (except that might imply you're using Hoborg's SAF, as I think it does that), and in NPVR you have the mpeg-2 video decoder set to disabled, from which I can glean no information (though I do see you have FFDShow installed). I know you said you have it that way just because you were trying all the possible settings, but do be aware that in NPVR setting it to "Disabled" does literally mean Disabled - it is not the same as "System Default" in NPVR. By the way, unless you do have H.264 video, you should have that decoder disabled.

The bit I'm looking at from your log is this:
Code:
2010-10-23 21:45:44.468    [DEBUG][1]    Adding system MPEG1 Layer2 decoder
2010-10-23 21:45:44.468    [DEBUG][1]    about to load decoder
2010-10-23 21:45:44.468    [DEBUG][1]    added decoder to graph
2010-10-23 21:45:44.468    [DEBUG][1]    adding audio renderer: Default DirectSound Device
2010-10-23 21:45:44.500    [DEBUG][1]    Adding system MPEG2 decoder
2010-10-23 21:45:44.500    [DEBUG][1]    Adding EVR renderer
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [ERROR][1]    Unable to find named decoder
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [DEBUG][1]    Source Aspect Ratio: 1x1
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [DEBUG][1]    Setting display rect: 0.125000,0.000000,0.875000,1.000000
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [DEBUG][1]    Graph filter list:
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [DEBUG][1]     - EVR Renderer
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [DEBUG][1]     - MPEG1 Audio Renderer
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [DEBUG][1]     - MPEG Audio Decoder
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [DEBUG][1]     - MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
2010-10-23 21:45:44.531    [DEBUG][1]     - File Source (Async.)

Note that it gets an error "Unable to find named decoder", and note also that the resulting Graph filter list contains no video decoder. If you're trying to use FFDShow, I think I recall you have to whitelist NextPVR.exe in the FFDShow settings. If you're using Hoborg's SAF, I think I recall it being said that you need to re-install the latest SAF after installing NPVR. You may want to just try another decoder. The MPC-HC decoders are supposed to be good. I use the ATI Mpeg-2 Decoder from the AVIVO download, as well as the Win7 Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder.

I think I got it squared away. I have to add an mpeg2 decoder, disable h264, and add an mpeg1 audio. thanks!
