Is the popup message that disappears after a few seconds available for plugins to use? All I can find is the SimplePopup class.

I'm looking for one like the popup used in the Recordings screen when you change the sort order. It shows the new sort method and then hides itself.

ShowMessage() is the right function, but depending on your rendering you might need ForceRender() too. To clear the message without waiting it is ShowMessage("")
