Hi Alibert,

Very excited to see TVListings3 for nPVR. This is the plugin that kept me from switching over. However, I load it up, and I get no program grid or description, per the pic attached. All the data shows in TV Guide, and I don't see any errors in the log.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for bringing TVListings to NPVR.
Roy

Roy, I have to ask the obvious... Did you set up your Guide in TVListing config?

TVListing have the functionality to have several different guides.

From the wiki:
Quote:Guides:
Add, edit or remove guides here. You need to provide a name for a guide, and check the channels this guide should include. You can reorder the channels by using the "Channel position" up/down control. At least one guide must be defined, and each guide must contain at least one enabled channel.

Yes, I did set up 3 different guides, "All" is shown in the pic. Is there something else I need to do to get TVListings to see the xmltv data that shows in TV Guide?

Sorry, then I dont know. For me it was working "out of the box" although I only have one guide setup. You could always try that as a first test, ie delete your other 2 guides. Btw, have you looked throught the logs.

Im sure Alibert will give better support when he gets to your thread.

I've tried with 1 and 2 guides and it's working for me. Not sure that I did anything else other than install it and set it up in the settings screen. Are you sure you have the files in the correct folder?

I did try it without making a guide first, don't know if that caused a problem. I have looked at the logs, and don't see any errors.

As far as folders - I'm pretty sure I have the plugin and skin files in the correct folders, the plugin is there, and I've played with the skin file a bit, and seen the results.

But still no program data. Do I need to fetch the program data from/to a certain folder, that would be different than the standard TV Guide uses?

Thanks for your help.

I just removed both of my guides under the TV Listings settings tab and still have the default guide showing in TV listings. Other than changing the TVDB directory folder, I've done nothing else. I put both the files in the Plugins folder and it seems to work just fine. This with both the default and Wave skins.

"Both files" meaning the .dll and .db3?

For me, with Wave, the button text (upper left) seems to be covered (not opaque). Haven't got to looking into that yet. I wonder if it is something to do with my system (video, renderer, ??????)

Yes, both the .dll and .db3.
I don't know what else to suggest as it appears you've done what I have and what you should be doing. Isn't this what fun computing is all about?Big Grin

Just reran the nPVR install program, went to TV Listings, a flicker - and listings appeared.

Looks great. Smile Now to work on tweaking the skin (for Wave)!
