I am able to connect via http://localhost:8866, but I am not able to connect over the web from a machine outside my network. I am using the GBPVR's IP address (not the LAN IP address). I am able to successfully ping the IP address from a remote machine using a command prompt in windows. When I try to access NEWA the browser attempts to connect, but eventually times out.
How do I begin to troubleshoot this?
I'm not sure if any logs are helpful in troubleshooting this problem, but I can attach logs if needed.
Here's the setup that I have:
NPVR machine is a XP MCE 2005 machine running NPVR 1.5.33
Router is an old D-link DI 614+ running with wireless disabled
On the LAN I connect to the server using a Popcorn Hour NMT device
Please help me if you can. Thanks.
