When I back out of a recording I'm watching, back to the "What's new" screen, is the selection supposed to go all the way back up to the newest recording? I notice that sometimes when I back out, the recording I was just watching is the highlighted item, which makes more sense to me.

This is due to a change sub made to live-update the recording screens so the info won't be stale when you come back from watching a recording or just leave it sit at a recording screen. I found it quite off-putting to look at the recording list at 8:45pm and find the 7:00pm shows still showing as "Recording" with no sign of the 8:00pm and 8:30pm shows, so this is a welcome change.

The fact that the recording list updates itself does have some odd side-effects though. Perhaps sub is still polishing those changes, as they aren't officially part of 1.5.33; it came as part of one of the patches for something else.

There is improvements to this in the next release. If it reloaded the recording list due to inactivity, then it'll make sure the selection is put back to the originally selected recording.

Well there is definitly a bug, if I go from Ready recordings into a group, watch a recording and hit Stop, I'd expect to see the recordings in the group. But it shows me ALL ready recordings. But I'll have to watch the recording for a minute or so, if I just watch a few seconds and push stop, I'm back in the group of recordings again (as it should be).

I just tried this here, and it worked the way I expected. ie, I was in the Ready recording list, pressed enter into a group of four recordings, hit play, watched a couple of seconds, hit stop, and was taken back to the same screen shown the four recordings, with the same recording selected. I've not seen any other reports of the behaviour you described.

@ Reddwarf

Your exactly right. I never noticed that before since I don't usually browse that directory. It actually takes you back to a folder with every single ready recording in it, not even the groups. When you hit back again, it then takes you back to all the ready recordings groups. It looks like the navigation is working normal, it's just for some reason showing you EVERY single recording, when it should be showing only the recordings in that group.

Sub are you sure you let the recording play long enough? I let it play for a few minutes, backed out and there it was... showing everything.

You need to watch at least a minute before going back.

I (and the wife) have noticed the same as Reddwarf - except it wasn't obvious to me that it was a list of every ready recording. It looked like the same random list of recordings... I didn't look close enough to see if they were all in date order though, I was just confused.

I re-read you post, and see I'd interpreted your steps incorrect. I fixed the problem for the next release.
