Problem with old XMLTV Extras

As I am in the process of switching to NPVR from GBPVR, I am having a problem with the old XMLTV Extras (version 1.5). On a side note, I really like the new version with the linking of TV series to The TV DB.

When I run the old one, I get the following error: "Error reading C:\Program Files\EPG\MA-QAM.xml: There is an error in XML document (2, 11)." I've tried different XML files, different PCs. I'm getting my XML from MC2XML. I tried both Microsoft & Microsoft Legacy settings. It just seems like all of sudden I can't get it to work. Any ideas or suggestions for what I could submit to help diagnose it?

The latest version of the utility should work with your xmltv files.

But will it work with the TVListings for GBPVR? I know the new XMTVExtras works with my XML files & NPVR, but I haven't switched over yet.

Hi,

no, the new version only works against NPVR / TVListings 3.

However, you should be able to use the old version with your xmltv files by putting the document table that is referenced from your xmltv files (xmltv.dtd) into the same directory as the xmltv files are.
