Actually there haven't been any forum spammers lately, the last I recall seeing was about 2 weeks ago and was summarily dispatched by McBainUK I believe. I do pull up the new visitor message list once a day and delete them all; that seems to be the last refuge of the spammers (too bad I can't ban them for visitor messages). I've been trying to talk sub into just disabling the Visitor Message function, as it really serves no purpose here... I find the rare non-spam visitor message should really have been a forum thread or PM (except for the one visitor message posted to my profile; I'm still not sure what ShiningDragon was on about, but I gather it was raining in Germany). However, sub does have better things to do than dig into the vbulletin control panel - I trust he's hard at work readying our Christmas present.
