So here's some of mine, in no particular order, and with no expectations of any of them being possible any time soon...

- detection of frame rate and setting the video refresh to match
- video continuing to play in an inset while browsing the menu (like in GBPVR with VMR9)
- genre support in the epg
- always remember and default to the last used aspect ratio (eg "fill")
- more HD channels on free UK TV

If you can handle that last request sub, you really are a genius

+2 on genre as I used to find searching for 5/5 or 4/5 in "films" in EWA really useful in gbpvr.

What is the issue with not locating HD freeview channels? ( I am thinking of getting one of the dvb-t2 tuners in a week or so)

I believe imilne is able to locate and receive all the available freeview HD channels - methinks he just wishes there were more of them - I was thinking of a t2 tuner too...

Yes, the last entry was just a (bad) joke/comment on how Channel 4 HD, Five HD, Film4 HD, ITV2 HD, ITV3 HD, ITV4 HD all exist, but they're not available on Freesat, even though their SD equivalents are.

I don't have a DVB-T2 tuner. It's tempting, but I'm not sure it's worth it just for Channel 4 HD. The one I'd really want is Film4 HD. Sigh.
