Problem is the command prompt doesn't like the spaces for the "documents and settings" dirctory for xp.

[h=2]The Wiki says:

Next-PVR Installation Directories[/h] NextPVR is split between two directories

[h=3]Default Program directory[/h]
  • All 32 bit C:\Program Files\NPVR
  • All 64 bit C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR

[h=3]Default Data directory.[/h] The location of the data directory depends on the version of Windows you are running:
  • Windows Vista, 7, Server 2008: C:\Users\Public\NPVR
  • Windows XP, Server 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR
CPU: Core i3 530 @2.93GHz, Intel; _ RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333MHz, Corsair; _ MoBo: GA-H55M-D2H, Gigabyte

Case: Fusion 430 Black, Antec; _ LCD Display: ODM/OEM LCD, iMON; _ Remote/ir-Blaster: MCE-Remote 2, Microsoft

Well, it mostly works.. When I first wake the computer, i get an NPVR exception. This time I opened the Details..

Any ideas?

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Something's tripping the scrolling function for the lower row.
Could you check if the MaxCharacterLow setting in the xml is set properly? The default is 16 characters.

If it doesn't work, is there anything displayed just before the error is tripped?

I put it back in to see.

Firstly, the xml file wasn't changed from install. the width is set to 16.

Yesterday, it was fine waking up (when I did it manually), no error message.

When I went to the computer this morning, and fired it up, it had the exception message up.

There was text scrolling at the bottom (even though the exception was up), about my next recording.

If you want to build a debug version that logs, I will run it.

Update: I had some music on, and it exceptioned again. The file it was playing was: "Z:\TUNES\April Wine\Back To The Mansion\[NoDRM]-04-0 - April Wine - Holiday.wma"

Thanks for making this plug in for NPVR, and supporting it.

Cheers, Joe

the plugin is broken, something's changed in livetv details lookup so when veiwing livetv, the lookup of what's on the channel# crashes livetv and exits..
Code:
2014-09-18 13:44:29.391    [ERROR][1]    Unexpected error in EPGEvent.LoadByOID(): System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary.

maybe needs updating for .NET4??
i suspect some other small errors in there also, but it seems to work fine otherwise..

so please, need your help fixing this as i'm finally moving over to npvr as i just got a Prime device and have to..
i would really miss the time, hdd temps, cpu graphs, hdd space free, and total npvr info i have constantly displayed...!!!

not sure if i have any source code, certainly not current, so you're our only hope..

P.S.

Why is this in gbpvr[legacy] forum????!!!
it's only for NEXTPVR...Smile

Hi pBS,

I'm short on time and I don't use nPVR anymore, so I have to install it to debug & stuff.

I'll give you the sources, ok?

greetings,
Nick
